The Nautile villa embodies a sense of elegance, delicacy, and the smoothness of a carefully honed shell, a protected natural capsule for living. As the antithesis of the neighboring Geode villa located on the same Dubai shore, Nautile adopts an extroverted design scheme. A singular sculpted linear circulation pattern generates a cohesive mass as a unified architectural signature.
Semi-circular subtractions in the design generate outward-oriented green pockets that blur the boundary between interior and exterior spaces, linking the inner circulation with the landscape beyond the villa’s boundaries.
These concave surfaces, organized along a linear datum on both sides of the house, harbor a series of gardens and water features, encouraging a biophilic living approach.
Viewed from the outside, the double-height curvatures of the façade, with their clean-cut edges and sleek travertine finish, subliminally draw attention to the green intermediate spaces, inviting individuals to venture further into the house. Behind these walls, the main living spaces rise to the full height of the villa, playing with scale in unexpected ways within the pure geometries of the architecture, its alternating pocket gardens, and sunken pool.
